A health coach focuses on overall lifestyle habits like stress management, sleep, hygeine practices, physical activity, and mental wellness. A nutrition coach zeroes in on your eating habits, helping you develop a healthier relationship with food. I’m certified in both, so I offer a well-rounded approach to help you reach your goals.
They’re not the same. A registered dietitian (RD) is a licensed healthcare professional who has completed specific academic requirements, clinical training, and a national exam. A nutritionist can be certified (like me) through accredited programs and focuses on educating and guiding clients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes. While both help people improve their nutrition, only RDs can provide medical nutrition therapy for diagnosed conditions.
